    Properties having Registered Sale Deeds

    Major chunk of properties in Lahore comprises of those where proper sale deeds of “absolute ownership rights” are executed, and registered, after the payment of dues. In such properties, the following documents are required for legal opinion:

  • Copy of Sale Deed of the previous owner.
  • Non-Encumbrance Certificate.
  • Form PT-1 / Clearance Certificate (if applicable)

  • Properties with Khasra Numbers having Registered Sale Deeds

    The documents required for legal opinion with respect to such properties are as follows:


  • Copy of the Sale Deed.
  • Ownership Mutation.
  • Copy of Sale Deed of the previous owner.
  • Non-Encumbrance Certificate.
  • Form PT-1 / Clearance Certificate (if applicable).

  • Properties having Allotment Letter from Lahore Development Authority (LDA)

    The following documents are generally required in such cases:


  • Allotment letter/ Exemption Letter (in case of exemptee plots) of first Allottee/Exemptee.
  • Subsequent Transfer Letters establishing the chain of ownership of the present owner
  • Possession Letter.
  • PT-1 (if applicable).

    DHA properties are the most widely accepted security in Lahore. The documents generally required for legal opinion over such properties are:

    Generally, the documents required for legal opinion over properties situated in widely known and accepted societies, for instance Model Town Society, Tech Society, EME society, etc. are as follows:


  • First Allotment Letter.

    The documents required for builder constructed schemes are:

  • Permission to launch the Scheme from the competent Authority.
